Evidence and business

Year 1796 is considered as year of birth of homeopathy. It
has been more than 200 years of existence. Though
homoeopathy is still in infancy as compared to other
systems but a significant percentage of population is
using homeopathy. Some vested interests in other systems
of medicines feel threatened by growth rate of
homoeopathy. There have been in the past (even now) many
attacks on homoeopathy and its efficacy. As homoeopaths,
our duty is only make our practice more and more
evidence based, supported by laboratory investigations
to show the efficacy. When we all will practice evidence
based clinical homoeopathy, these attacks will loose
their sting and homoeopathy will serve the maximum
percentage of patients world over with a human touch. |
