EDITORIAL

Today, while writing the
first editorial I am going through a unique experience
of mixed feelings of pleasure, honor and pride at one
end and apprehension, anxiety with nervousness at the
other. The first set of feelings because it is my
pleasure to welcome you all to the e-journal of this
website, 'ach'cure.com. I take pride in introducing the
e-journal of 'ach'cure.com. The second set of feelings is
because of this monumental task that I have been
entrusted by Dr. Dhiraj Nanda.
At the outset, I invite every one of you to participate
and be a part of it. I am sure that there are going to
be many interesting informative topics that will be
available to readers.
Homoeopathy is an amazing healing science that is
capable of handling difficult diseases. The unique
feature of homoeopathy is its appro'ach' in treating
diseases giving importance in understanding the
mind-body correlation. Personally, it is great pleasure
and satisfaction to be part of this healing method.
In this inaugural issue of January 2009, we have an
article correlating society and disease. Now days, one
can see lot of destruction in the society in form of
terror, destruction of moral values, etc. Incident like
- the Mumbai terror attacks and bombing by terrorists -
point out how mind is working towards destruction. It is
not surprising that as we see lot of destruction in the
society, we see an increase in the incidence of
destructive diseases such as cancers, organ failures,
birth defects, mental retardation, etc. Other articles
in this issue deal with impact of modern life-style on
our health. All this has been explained as correlation
between mind-brain-body-immunity-disease. And when the
medicine is selected based on this understanding of
effect of mind on body, the disease can be eradicated
from its roots. |
