Second Prescription - Scientific Analysis

Year 1796 is considered as year of
birth of homeopathy. Homoeopathic medicines gave better
results to Hahnemann than Allopathy but still he found
something missing. He found that the beginning was
excellent, progress was fair and end result was
hopeless. This has lead to discovery of two important
facts:
1. Presenting symptoms do not form the complete picture;
2. Disappearance of symptoms does not essentially mean
cure.
Further studies by homoeopaths of that time provided an
answer to the above.
Hahnemann himself found that presenting symptoms do not
form the complete picture of the patient, we have add
his past history, family history and the fundamental
cause or Miasm to obtain a complete picture. He has
written my discovery of miasms is bigger and important
than the discovery of law of similars. If one wants the
final result to be a cure, one has to understand the
miasm.
The second point was answered by Dr. Hering.
Disappearance of symptoms does not essentially mean
cure. For cure this appearance should follow a definite
direction. This direction is known as Hering’s Law of
Cure.
During embryological growth, more important organ
develops first than the less important and finally least
important. And this is direction on nutrition gradients.
This means that nature itself gives nutrition to most
important organ first than the less important and
finally least important. And cure also takes place in
most important organ first than the less important and
finally least important organ or system. It is
natural the body saves the most important organ first
than the less important and finally least important
organ.
Hahnemann has written more than 200 years ago that what
ever he says is based on experiments that are based on
natural law and he does not have the means to see and
understand what is happening inside human body. But the
logic deducted by these great scientists of natural laws
has stood the test of time only to be confirmed by the
tools of scientific study in present day times.
Many patients come to homoeopathy because homoeopathy
cures and not suppresses. Dr. Samuel Hahnemann was the
first one to talk about suppressions. Any effect of
medicine that does not follow Hering’s Law is
suppression. Suppressions form the majority of responses
that are seen in practice of majority of practitioners.
One of the students of homoeopathic college once asked
me Allopathic medicines suppress because of their strong
material doses but how can suppression take place by one
dose of wrong homoeopathic medicine. The answer is plain
and simple if one dose can cure, it can also suppress.
Today I realize that many so called ‘magics’ by many
doctors may have been suppressions by single dose.
Our medicines just initiate the reaction in the body
allowing body’s own immune system to start healing
process. If medicine is incorrect it may lead to the
start of suppression process. |
